Adminstration of the Bekabad District Tashkent Region

From June 16 to 18, 2026, the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, one of the country’s major investment platforms, is being held in Tashkent. Within the framework of this large-scale event, the investment potential of Bekobod District, as well as opportunities in industry and production sectors, are being presented to foreign investors. In particular, a meeting was held with representatives of the Chinese company “Shanxi Lida Paper Group”, where promising investment projects planned for implementation in the district were presented. During the meeting, guests were provided with detailed information about the existing infrastructure, production capacities, and investment opportunities created in the “Bekobod” Special Industrial Zone and the “Oybek” Trade Zone. Negotiations were also held between the Hokim of Bekobod District and representatives of “Shanxi Lida Paper Group”, during which issues related to implementing new projects and establishing mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed. Following the meeting, the company’s management expressed interest in developing specific proposals for implementing promising investment projects in the region and further expanding cooperation.
