On March 17 of this year, at the initiative of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a round table was held at the State Assay Inspection under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, organized by Prosecutor A. Movlanov from the General Prosecutor's Office. The topic of the round table was "The fight against corruption is the duty of every public servant."
The meeting focused on ensuring the implementation of tasks and instructions given by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan during the "National Council for Combating Corruption" meeting on March 5, 2025, compliance with the requirements of the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Combating Corruption" and "On Conflict of Interests," as well as the inevitability of criminal liability for official crimes.
During the round table, the head of the State Assay Inspection, Sh. Ortiqov, noted that corruption is a disease that hampers the development of society as a whole, destroys the country from within, and can even lead states into crisis. He emphasized that the fight against corruption and its prevention is the responsibility of every individual.
