As you may know, in August this year, within the framework of the program “From Poverty to Prosperity”, the “Prosperity Center” was opened in the Navkat neighborhood of Qo‘shrabot district. Yesterday, Minister of Justice Akbar Toshqulov, together with the district governor and regional activists, visited the center to observe its current activities. He also communicated with residents employed at the center, those learning foreign languages and vocational skills for free, as well as local entrepreneurs.
— The center has launched educational, entrepreneurial, and handicraft directions, — said Minister of Justice Akbar Toshqulov. — Free foreign language courses, IT courses, sewing, a national doll-making workshop, dried fruit processing and packaging, and other vocational training are among them. Importantly, young people mastering foreign languages will be assisted in legally obtaining employment abroad. By the end of the year, unemployed citizens will be provided with jobs, with 11 people studying English and more than 20 learning vocational skills.
Additionally, a meeting was organized with Dilorom Yo‘ldosheva, the heroine of the film “Matonat” from Surkhandarya. First, the film was screened for local residents and trainees of the center. Afterwards, Ms. Yo‘ldosheva held a conversation, particularly sharing her experience with women learning sewing skills at the center and giving them valuable advice. In turn, the women emphasized that the meeting gave them great strength, enthusiasm, and inspiration.
It should be noted that the establishment of such centers serves to improve living standards, create new jobs, and strengthen economic activity in rural areas.
