Today, November 25, a regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Scientific and Methodological Council under the Forensic Research Institute of the Republican Center for Forensic Expertise named after Kh. Suleymanova under the Ministry of Justice was held.

📌 The meeting was attended by Council members and representatives of law enforcement agencies, discussing ongoing reforms in the field, past results, and future plans.

The Head of the Department of the Ministry of Justice, Chairman of the Council J. Nuritdinov, delivered a report on the work done in the field of forensic examination and priority tasks for 2025.

In particular, the work carried out to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 8, 2025 No. PP-270 "On measures for further improving forensic expert activity and the wide introduction of modern technologies into the sphere," as well as the issues of fully establishing the exchange of electronic documents between judicial and investigative bodies and expert institutions through the electronic platform "E-ekspertiza," were emphasized.

At the meeting, the following topical issues were considered:
- Dictionary of terms and definitions aimed at explaining "Digital Forensic Examination" (Digital forensics);
- Methodology for the Identification of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO);
- "Methodology for Preliminary Study of Explosion by Photo and Video Recording, Methodology for Determining the Nature of the Direction of the Explosion," etc.
