🔹Today, November 21, a round table on "Strengthening the legal framework for improving public services in Uzbekistan" was held in Tashkent in cooperation with the European Union, UNDP, and the Ministry of Justice.
🔹More than 50 participants, including representatives of government agencies, international organizations, and civil society, discussed reforms aimed at improving the accessibility, quality, and inclusiveness of public services.
🔹 EU Ambassador Toivo Klaar:
"The new comprehensive law will expand access to equal and quality services for every citizen."
📌 The following important analytical documents were presented during the roundtable discussion:
- analysis of the effectiveness of the my.gov.uz platform;
- study of barriers and delays in public services for 2022-2024;
- Concept of the draft Law "On Public Services."
🔹The partners expressed support for reforms aimed at making services in Uzbekistan more efficient, convenient, and citizen-oriented.
🔹 UNDP Resident Representative Akiko Fuji:
"Citizen-oriented services are a strong factor of trust between the state and society."
The event was held within the framework of the project "Further Improvement of Public Services in Uzbekistan," funded by the European Union and implemented by the UN Development Programme and the Ministry of Justice.
