🔹Today, the Ministry of Justice held a press conference to discuss the results of the "Art and Creativity Protection" month, the achieved results, and future tasks for further improvement and development of the field.
🔹It was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Justice, as well as representatives of partner organizations and the media who provided close practical assistance in the proper conduct and coverage of the month.
📌Within the framework of the month held throughout our country for the first time in October, extensive work was carried out to protect copyright and related rights, and to combat offenses.
🔹In particular,
▪️more than 40 appeals were considered;
▪️In more than 10 cases, mandatory submissions were made against offenders;
▪️Nearly 20 warnings were issued;
▪️ A report on more than 10 administrative offenses has been sent to court.
🔹At the same time, more than 90 seminar-trainings were organized during the month, increasing the knowledge and skills of thousands of students and researchers in the field of copyright.
🔹Active work was also carried out in the field of digitalization: in cooperation with the "Cybersecurity Center," legal protection in the field of software was strengthened, and the activity of about 40 illegal websites was stopped.
🔹More than 20 programs and programs were broadcast on television and radio channels, and over 200 promotional posts were announced.
The Ministry of Justice will continue its ongoing work to protect the interests of authors and creators, value their work, and further develop the intellectual property sector.
