Illegal use of the “BOSS” trademark has been stopped

Despite the measures and inspections carried out by justice authorities to effectively protect intellectual property rights and promote respect for them, cases of unauthorized use of others’ brands are still frequently encountered.
In particular, the Ministry reviewed the complaint of “Hugo Boss AG” (Germany) regarding the infringement of its rights to the “Boss” trademark by “D.W.” LLC.
As a result of the inspection, it was revealed that counterfeit products manufactured using the “Boss” trademark were being offered for sale by “D.W.” LLC.
Based on this violation, the Ministry applied appropriate enforcement measures against “D.W.” LLC and ordered the destruction of 173 counterfeit products kept for sale.
