A Meeting with the Delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic Was Held at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The meeting was attended by the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Ayupov, First Vice President and Chief Scientific Secretary Shamansur Sagdullayev, and Vice President Sirojiddin Mirzayev.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of scientific cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan and explored prospects for its further development. They exchanged views on strengthening academic ties, expanding joint scientific research, and enhancing exchanges of scientists and young researchers.
The meeting also addressed the Kyrgyz side’s initiative to establish a dialogue platform for the heads of National Academies of Sciences of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. Opportunities for cooperation within this framework were also considered.
Held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the meeting is expected to contribute to the further strengthening of cooperation between the scientific institutions of the two countries.
