On April 8, a press conference was held at the Ministry of Culture to inform the public about the events being held in connection with the organization and holding of the II International Dance Festival "Lazgi", which is planned to be held on April 25-30, Khorezm region, the city of Khiva.
The event summed up the tasks to be implemented in order to ensure the implementation of the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-4843 dated September 28, 2020.
It should be noted that 18 countries took part in the II International Dance Festival “Lazgi”, held under the auspices of UNESCO (France, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Russia, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Brazil, Pakistan, Italy, (Korea) (Indonesia, Egypt, India, Azerbaijan, Iran) 20 dance groups expressed their desire to take part in the festival. It is expected that the ministers of culture of Egypt, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and the Director General of ICESCO will take part in the festival as an honored guest. day applications for a referee were received from 5 countries (Germany, Korea, Uzbekistan, USA, Kazakhstan), about 50 domestic scientists were invited to participate in an international scientific and practical conference organized within the framework of the international competition "Lazgi" dance festival, more than 25 foreign scientists and industry representatives, in particular: India; China (offline); USA (offline); Russia (offline); Turkey (offline); Egypt (offline); It was reported that applications for participation in the festival were received from representatives of Kazakhstan and other countries.
The opening ceremony of the festival is scheduled for April 25, and famous artists will take part in it.
